NURS 298B - Intermediate Nursing Concepts I

NURS 298B is a clinical course in which students actively engage in learning experiences to provide care for clients of all ages with stable, well-defined problems as a member of the health care team. Students will apply skills using professionalism, communication, caring interventions, assessment, and planning in a variety of settings. Clinical rotations are concentrated in wellness, acute care, extended care, specialty, clinical learning laboratory, and simulation settings. Clinical experiences encompass restorative and supportive nursing skills that protect, promote, and optimize client health/abilities as well as prevent client illness or injury and alleviate suffering.

Pre-Requisites: NURS 231 - Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing 
Co-Requisites: NURS 241 - Intermediate Nursing Concepts I . S/U grading only. Fall. Course fee required.
