PHYS 110 - Introductory Astronomy

This course reviews basic information on the history of astronomy, the appearance of the night sky, the principle of gravity, the nature of light and telescopes, the structure and dynamics of the Solar System, the evolution of stars, the Milky Way and other galaxies, and the expanding universe.

Co-Requisites: PHYS 110L - Introductory Astronomy Lab.
