AGEC 422 - Resource Economics and Environment Protection

The primary objective of this course is to introduce the main concepts and tools of environmental and natural resource economics through lectures, discussions, and exercises. Emphasis will be on the importance of environmental and natural resource economic concepts as applied to atmosphere, water, land, and biota in reconciling economic theory and environmental policies. The course also focuses on physical geographic geologic principles and processes applied to understand selected human impacts on atmosphere water, land, and biota.

Pre-Requisites: AGEC 241 - Introduction to Agricultural Economics .
