Introduction to the biology of plants emphasizing evolution and diversity, plant anatomy and development, water and mineral nutrition, photosynthesis, and plant ecology. This course is part of the university’s Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines program.

Pre-Requisites: BIOL 150 - General Biology I/BIOL 150L - General Biology I Lab or BIOL 151 - General Biology II/BIOL 151L - General Biology II Lab and ENGL 120 - College Composition II or ENGL 121H - Honors Composition II.
