BIOL 315 - Genetics


Credits: 4

An introduction to transmission genetics, molecular genetics, genomics, epigenetics and population genetics. Lecture and laboratories will focus on learning the critical thinking skills and common laboratory procedures and software for phenotyping and genotyping. This course is part of the university’s Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines program.

Pre-Requisites: BIOL 150 - General Biology I /BIOL 150L - General Biology I Lab  and CHEM 122 /CHEM 122L - General Chemistry Lab II , ENGL 120 - College Composition II  or ENGL 121H - Honors Composition II .
