CHEM 341 - Organic Chemistry I

Credits: 4

Topics to be included are chemical bonding, nomenclature, functional groups, stereochemistry, spectroscopy, and theory of laboratory techniques. This course is part of the university’s Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines program.

Pre-Requisites: CHEM 121 - General Chemistry I /CHEM 121L - General Chemistry Lab I , CHEM 122 - General Chemistry II /CHEM 122L - General Chemistry Lab II  and ENGL 120 - College Composition II  or ENGL 121H - Honors Composition II .
Co-Requisites: CHEM 341L - Organic Chemistry Lab I .
