CHEM 460 - Biochemistry

Students will learn how to process and examine the principles of chemistry in the contexts of protein structure and function, enzyme kinetics and inhibition, carbohydrates, membranes, nucleic acids and metabolism. This course also includes a laboratory component.

Pre-Requisites: CHEM 341 - Organic Chemistry I/CHEM 341L - Organic Chemistry Lab I and BIOL 315 - Genetics or BIOL 330 - Cell Biology.
