DTEC 206 - Advanced Engines and Fuel Systems

Course is designed to give students an understanding of medium- and heavy-duty diesel engines manufactured by, but not limited to, Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Navistar, Volvo and/or Mercedes Benz. Areas of study include base engine components, intake and exhaust systems, emission control devices, lubrication systems, cooling systems and fuel systems.

Pre-Requisites: DTEC 101 - Introduction to Diesel Technology Industry and DTEC 106 - Introduction to Diesel Engines.
