ECON 106 - Global Economics


Credits: 3

This course introduces students to the world economy. Students will study globalization and connect the historic patterns and development to current topics in international economics. Students will learn about the international organizations that influence economic development, policy, and trade (the WTO, World Bank, IMF, BIS). Students will engage in a comparative study of economic systems. This course is part of the university’s Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines program.
