British Romantic Literature emphasizes the work of the six great writers of the Romantic Period, 1785-1830. This includes Blake, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Keats, Byron, and Percy Shelley. The works of Wollstonecraft, Mary Robinson, De Quincey, and other period writers may also be examined. This course is part of the university’s Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines program.
